The system is designed to connect construction shops, workers, and general users with a wide range of vendors supplying construction materials. By matching buyers with multiple suppliers across various locations, the platform provides users with a broad array of choices, ensuring they can find the materials they need for their projects. The aim is to streamline the procurement process, offering a seamless connection to vendors and ensuring users have access to competitive pricing and diverse options. This approach enhances the buying experience for construction professionals and general users alike, allowing for more informed decisions and efficient material sourcing.
One of the major challenges in the construction industry is the limited access to a diverse range of suppliers and materials, which can often lead to delays, higher costs, and limited options for workers and shops. Construction shops and workers frequently struggle to find the right suppliers or the specific materials they need, as many vendors are confined to specific regions or product categories. This lack of variety and location flexibility can significantly hinder project timelines and affect the overall efficiency of the procurement process. Additionally, users often have to rely on a small pool of local vendors, limiting their ability to compare prices, quality, and availability across multiple sources. As a result, the industry suffers from inefficiencies, making it harder for users to source the best options for their specific needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
One of the main challenges in this project was continuously adapting the software to incorporate evolving client requirements without compromising stability and performance. Managing bug fixes efficiently was critical, as even small issues could affect the overall user experience. Introducing new functionalities also presented a challenge in maintaining a user-friendly interface, especially as the system grew more complex. Additionally, aligning client expectations with technical constraints required ongoing communication and strategic planning to ensure feasible and scalable development.
To address the challenges in the project, we resolved the map redirection issue by restricting searches to Japan’s territory, ensuring users received accurate location results. We enhanced the admin panel by adding new columns, improving data accessibility and simplifying management for administrators. Additionally, we streamlined the deployment process by creating a new pipeline, which made updates and releases more efficient and reliable. To further personalize the user experience, we introduced a feature that allows users to insert a default store logo (pin) on the map, with the option to customize it, providing more flexibility for branding.
All the given requirements and tasks were successfully completed and submitted within the specified timeframe. The project progressed smoothly without any technical issues, demonstrating effective planning and execution. The team ensured that all features were implemented as per the client’s specifications, meeting their expectations for functionality and performance.
